In this FREE community building experience, you’ll learn how to make your very own pair of Deer Hide Mitts, live, and in person. The legally harvested Deer Hide has been gifted by an Indigenous Sunalta resident.

In the 6 hours, you’ll be thoroughly engaged learning to properly handle, and prepare all of the materials, sewing, and construction.

Basically, you’ll guided on everything to make a complete pair of your own Deer Hide Mitts from start to finish. 

At the end of the four hours, you may not finish your gauntlets, however, you’ll walk out empowered with knowledge to complete your very own custom handmade pair of Deer Hide Mitts on your own at home.

All the materials are supplied free of cost: 
- Deer Hide with Fur on it

- Hide for Palm and Thumb

- Artificial Sinew

- Glover Needles

- Wool Lining
